Join our team as an Insurance Service Specialist! IHMVCU is

are seeking an enthusiastic Insurance Service Specialist to be that
partner to existing and new policy holders. We have a successful
and busy insurance business, so we are looking for someone with a
detail-oriented work style. This role will be located at our
Davenport, Iowa branch. The successful candidate should have
following skills/qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
Property/Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one within
30 days of starting the position. Exceptional member service,
problem solving and decision-making skills Demonstrated
professional communication, accuracy and attention to detail Known
to be reliable, dependable and responsible in all situations Some
of the key responsibilities include: Provides exceptional service
to members and potential clients on all inquiries including, but
not limited to requests for policy changes, coverage or billing
questions, claims questions or inquiries on existing policies.
Documents all member interactions and requests completely,
accurately and efficiently. Obtains signatures on new business
policies and processes new business files checking for coverage
accuracy, forms and signatures, correct billing information and
completion of post issuance forms and requests. Thoroughly reviews
existing members policies and periodically shops around with
carriers for best pricing, offering the option to rewrite with
another carrier if beneficial to the member Conducts all
transactions in accordance with State Insurance laws, Agency and

involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking
and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary
criteria are met. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means
of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important
spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately,
loudly, or quickly. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at
normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the
ability to receive detailed information through oral communication
and making fine discriminations in sound. Finger, handle, touch:
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with
fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. Applying
pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Visual Demands:
Visual acuity to do things such as: preparing and analyzing data
and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive
reading. Lifting Demands: Up to 10 lbs.
