**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, or replacing defective parts, and reassembling machinery using machinist's tools, chain hoists, and steel rollers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Install ship machinery, such as propelling machinery and steering gear, working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.

* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient and safe work practices.

**Requirements:**

* 2+ years of experience in a machinist or related role.

* Strong knowledge of machinist's tools and equipment.

* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
