• Work under the supervision of a physician, lab manager or medical technologist and perform laboratory tests on specimens.
• Perform and analyze the results of complex scientific tests on blood and bodily fluids.
• Work in hospitals and independent laboratories using sophisticated procedures and equipment.Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Certifications - ASCP cert MT, MLS, MLT
  • Active state license.
  • Mathematical, computer, reasoning, and language skills at the college level (2 years)
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent patient interaction skills both in person and by phone
