Provides moderate to complex functional and operational support for assigned claims department. Support can include, but is not limited to maintaining claim records, processing claim payments, preparing a variety of forms and materials, reviewing materials, correcting errors and assisting with assigned Claims systems tasks. Works with customers, attorneys, adjusters and others to help resolve issues. Provides support on various claims projects to address claims needs.You re passionate about working with people and delivering efficient results. So are we! You could be the next key player to support our team as a Claims Tech II.What You ll DoAs a Claims Tech II on our team, you ll provide support to our team of claims representatives on a variety of tasks; such as maintaining claim records, correcting errors, and assisting with claims files and systems. In addition, you ll:

• Prepare forms and claim materials for processing
• Enter data into our automated system
• Document all activities in the claim file
• Send out documents to insureds and claimants to assist them through the process
• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and use customer service skills and knowledge to work collaboratively with insureds, claimants and claims team membersWhat it Takes
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of claim processing and procedures beneficial
  • Strong keyboard, calculator, and math skills
  • Effective human relations, communication, and listening skills
