Job Description:
Mississippi Valley Surgery Center is seeking to add a part-time
Patient Care Tech to our growing outpatient surgery center. The
Patient Care Tech works to support the RN in providing care to
patients of all acuity and age levels. The PCT is responsible for
basic duties such as ambulating patients, assisting with basic care
and toileting, cleaning rooms and equipment, and stocking
supplies.
Responsibilities:
PCT performs patient care and treatments under supervision of an
RN. Provides and documents care.
Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport
patients.
Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and
employee safety, and customer service.
