Job DescriptionLiberty Packaging Quad Cities is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our dedicated team on all shifts! We offer highly competitive pay commensurate with experience along with a full benefits package that includes 3 weeks of paid time off in the first year! Shift differential of $1/hr for 2nd shift and $0.75/hr for 3rd shift. This full-time position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and is located at Liberty Packaging's manufacturing plant in Rock Island, Illinois.Required SkillsIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:Move stock and load production lines within the warehouse or production facilityOperate lift truck, hoist, or other material handling equipmentStore/retrieve product/materials in the right locationMonitor and maintain material/product qualityOperate simple machinery and hand toolsQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalentA minimum of 1-2 years of forklift experience within a manufacturing environment preferredMobile equipment certified or willing to become certifiedMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to follow demonstrated or written work instructions such as machine-related operations, capabilities, light maintenance and safety requirementsAbility to read work instructions (i.e. SOP's, Specs, etc.)Ability to withstand continuous sitting; occasional pushing, pulling, bending and/or stooping; and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbsABOUT OUR COMPANY:Liberty Packaging is a nationwide network of packaging companies providing supply chain solutions.
