Iowa Fertilizer Company (IFCo) is looking for a Turnaround (TAR)
Lead Planner to join our Maintenance team in Wever, Iowa. -This
individual will assist the team with the planning and execution of
area and plant wide planned outages. -The successful candidate will
need to coordinate their efforts across a wide range of disciplines
to ensure a safe, well executed plant outage. The Lead Planner is
accountable for all planning activities during scope development
and work package quality. This individual ensures that each
department is working together cohesively. - -DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESAt a minimum, tasks will include, but not limited
to: -
- Maintains a list of approved and pending work scope.
- Aligns team efforts with established milestones.
- Supports efforts of the Core Team and chair core team
meetings.
- Receives direction from and provides feedback to the TAR
Superintendent.
- Supports the directives of the Steering Team.
- Ensures planning procedures are followed.
- Ensures accurate data maintained in SAP, schedule, and
reports.
- Audits work packages and execution documentation.
- Prepares purchase requestions to obtain materials, tools, and
equipment.
- Works closely with other planners and schedulers to accomplish
the overall project objectives.
- Generates and maintains metric reports for TAR.
- Assists with budget development and cost tracking.
- Ensures RFIs and FCOs are tracked and processed.
- Reviews progress of outage against schedule and work
plans.
- Prepares transmittals as needed to and from contractors.
- Closes out work orders upon completion. - - - - - - - -
-Follows company safety and health guidelines and other company

-Always ensure HR has a copy of a current, valid license on file. -

-QUALIFICATIONS -Education - - - - - - - - - -High School Diploma
or equivalent -Experience and Skills
- - - - - - - - -5+ years' experience in maintenance work planning
in a chemical industry or refining environment. Fertilizer
manufacturing experience a plus. - - - - - - - - -Previous
experience as a supervisor or lead in a maintenance planning
capacity, in which highly effective supervisory skills and
techniques are implemented to coach, develop, and retain employees,
is preferred. - - - - - - - - -Proficient in Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS, PowerPoint). - - - - - - - -
-Advanced in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred. - - - - - - - -
-Proficient in SAP and/or CMMS. - - - - - - - - -Working knowledge
of Primavera P6 - - - - - - - - -Strong adherence and knowledge of
industry safety standards. Active participation in ongoing
development of safety improvement plans and training of staff.
- Experience in reading/interpreting drawings.
- Experience working with small teams and contractors. - - - - -
- - - -Proven ability to function within a project team,
prioritizing/delegating work, driving productivity, setting the
right expectation, and proactively overcoming obstacles in a

all weather conditions.
- Bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb straight ladders. Some work may require
heights in excess of 100 feet.
- Wearing industrial chemical plant uniforms and PPE as
required.
- Wearing a respirator when/where required to perform
inspections/job duties.
