looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate
about collaborating with High-Performance Teams to create mission
critical solutions supporting Mission Systems.Our Senior Principal
Software Engineers work in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging

engineering teams utilize a variety of skills on a regular basis
including requirements analysis, synthesis of new and existing
architectures that meld commercial and military communication
functionality and software engineering development best practices
for complex systems where the ability to execute the mission is
paramount.What YOU Will Do:
- Lead Embedded Software Engineering Excellence: Spearhead the
full lifecycle of embedded software engineering, from initial
concept through development and deployment, ensuring innovative and
efficient solutions at every phase
- Drive Technical Proposals and Program Cost Estimation: Take
ownership of leading and coordinating the creation of technical
proposals, including detailed program-level cost estimates, during
the bid and proposal cycle, ensuring competitive and accurate
submissions
- Architect and Design Software Systems: Lead software teams in
defining and delivering robust software architectures and designs,
with a focus on both technical excellence and alignment with
program cost, schedule, and strategic goals
- Translate Customer Requirements into Seamless Solutions: Ensure
the seamless transformation of customer requirements into
comprehensive, system-wide solutions that account for technical
feasibility, timelines, and budget constraints, delivering optimal
outcomes
- Drive Program Performance Management: Utilize your expertise to
estimate, track, and communicate program performance metrics,
including cost, schedule, and risk, ensuring alignment with earned
value management and program goals
- Proactively Identify and Mitigate Risks: Leverage your
experience and industry best practices to identify potential
challenges, proactively mitigate risks, and implement solutions

- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering
or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant
experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7
years of experienceQualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with multi-threaded real-time embedded
applications
- Prior experience leading proposals and bidding exercises
utilizing the SEER parametric estimation tool
- Experience with Agile development methodology
- Ability to mentor/execute the role of Scrum Master or Product
Owner
- TCP/IP network applications development experience
- UML experience
- Secure Processing and communication methodologies
- Secure Key Management and cryptography

salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary
