Doctor of Medicine | Otolaryngology Location: Peoria, IL Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Physician – Pediatric Otolaryngology (ENT) • Job Type: Locum Tenens (Part-Time) • Location: Peoria, IL • Service Setting: Hospital / Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Call • Coverage Period: January 5, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: OR 07:30–15:00 or 08:00–17:00; Clinic 08:30–15:30 • On-Call Shift Schedule: Daily call during shift, extends into evening (ends midnight or 6p) • Call Type: In-House Telephone • Call Response Time: 30 minutes COVERAGE DATES • Starting January 5, 2026 – ongoing, part-time coverage PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Pediatrics • Patient Volume/Census: 15–20 patients/day • Rounding: Included • Case Mix: Tonsillectomy, adenoids, tubes, frenulectomy, abscess drainage, myringoplasty, laryngoscopy FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Level I • EMR System: Epic • Specialty Backup Available: Pediatric ENT team (2 surgeons, 2 PAs) • Reason for Coverage: New position / PTO support PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active Illinois license (will accept candidates needing to obtain one) • Board: BC/BE in Otolaryngology (Pediatric focus preferred) • DEA: Required • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS • Experience: Minimum 1 year NOTES • Providers perform clinic/OR work while simultaneously covering call. • Call responsibilities extend into evening hours.
