Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in intensive care unit with 1:2 patient ratios • Every 3rd weekend schedule required • No on-call responsibilities • 24 months of experience in ICU/intensive care capacity required • EPIC experience required • Must have completed at least one travel contract in previous 12 months - no first-time travelers • Philips monitoring equipment experience highly preferred • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • NIH Stroke Scale certificate highly preferred - can be obtained during onboarding • Iowa nursing license required (active Iowa license or compact/multistate) • Must wear dark gray scrubs • Skills checklist specific to ICU discipline required • Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months required • Work history must demonstrate 24 months of current Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele experience Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit utilizing EPIC electronic medical records and Philips monitoring equipment.
