Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 20 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Surgical Tech 1 – Open Heart Location: Peoria, IL (Methodist Medical Center) Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: Through 08/15/2026 Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hrs/week Position Summary: Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support Open Heart procedures. Candidate will assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures, maintain sterile field, prepare instruments and equipment, and anticipate intraoperative needs in a fast-paced surgical environment.
