Job Description Anesthesiologist Opening in the Quad Cities of Illinois and Iowa Positions Details: Full-time, permanent opening Private practice Wonderful work-life balance. We work in locations in both IA and IL. Primary hospital that is covered by the practice is Genesis Medical Center Silvis (Silvis, IL). It is a 150-bed level II trauma center. The practice also covers multiple surgery centers including GI, ophthalmology, urology, and plastic surgery. There are currently 13 board-certified anesthesiologists in the group Work schedule - The group has a rotational system where the providers either work at the hospital or work at a surgery center. If the provider is at the hospital, they can expect a normal working hour day. If they are on-call, it is 24-hours home call. Providers are guaranteed post-call days off. If a provider is working at a surgery center, expect a normal working hour day. Call schedule - Providers only take call while working a hospital rotation week. The practice also has a back-up call system. Expect to be on-call and back-up call once a week if on a hospital rotation, and in total could be 2-3 calls a month. Weekend calls are every 6 weekends (on-call Saturday and back-up call Sunday or vice versa). If a provider is on a surgery center rotation week, they do not take call. At the hospital, there is a mixture of outpatient vs inpatient. We do a variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics, vascular, plastics, urology. There is very little peds, trauma, major vascular. There are no hearts or neuro heads. At the surgery centers, they are outpatient. This is an all MD/DO group Compensation/compensation structure - 1099 structure. Providers are an immediate partner once joined. Pay ranges between $500K-$650K. Benefits - group healthcare insurance, malpractice insurance, and disability insurance that all members pay for. Most partners take between 8-12 weeks of vacation (Providers are able to take as much vacation as they wish (with some caveats), but the more one takes the less they will make).
