Job Description Job Description Details: Title: MRI Tech Type: Full time/Permanent Location Address: 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL, 61637 Pay Range: $36.39 - $47.63 Per Hour Benefits (Weekend shift diff & Relocation bonus discussed during interview on case by case bases) Shift: First shift (7am-7:30pm) Third shift (7pm – 7:30am) Will accept new grads 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for Radiologist interpretation. In addition, The MR Technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) GE Signa Artist (1.5T) and GE Signa Architect (3T) – EPIC Charting – McKesson PACS System 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 year of MR experience 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) ARRT or ARMRIT, BLS, 5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Dependent on department needs. First shift (7am-7:30pm) Third shift (7pm – 7:30am). Will discuss weekend/call requirements in interview 6.Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Will maintain assignments within the Medical Center and the designated magnets therein. 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 650 bed hospital – 5 total MR magnets Name of Position Requirements: - Does candidate have BLS? - Does candidate have IEMA? - ARRT or ARMIT? (Required) - Is your candidate a new grad? - 1 year of experience? - If experienced, do they have GE experience?
