Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Employer: Curative Pay: $400 to $500 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Iowa - Weekend-Only Coverage Weekend call coverage opportunity in Iowa, near Des Moines, with light volume and full travel provided. Highlights 1-2 weekends/month; vacation coverage also needed Light case load: 2-6 cases per weekend Credentialing in 30-60 days Open to IMLC surgeons Practice Setting Inpatient setting at a Level 3 center Adult patients only Epic EMR Schedule Friday 5pm - Monday 5am Full and half weekend shifts available Holiday weekends especially needed Cases and Procedures Full scope of cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgeries Includes open-heart cases and pacemaker insertions Requirements Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Iowa license or IMLC eligibility Travel Accommodations Flight, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered Reach out if you'd like to claim a spring or holiday weekend; coverage blocks are booking quickly!
