Job Description Inpatient Psychiatry | PRN Schedule | Free Lodging & Malpractice Included Looking for a high-paying, flexible Psychiatry locums role with a variety of patient care and teaching opportunities? This PRN inpatient psychiatry position in Davenport, Iowa offers $280/hour , overtime and call rates, along with full malpractice coverage . ? Schedule At-a-Glance: Setting: Inpatient psychiatric units (adult adolescent) Shifts: 8 AM – 5 PM (as needed, PRN basis) Frequency: Varies month to month (M–F or 7 days/week coverage model) Call: Every 3rd day, 8 AM – 5 PM Your Responsibilities: Round on: 28-bed adult unit 8-bed adolescent unit (ages 8–17) Supervise 2 APPs , including co-signing notes/orders When on call, manage psychiatric consults at nearby medical units Participate in a collaborative team of 3 physicians and 10 APPs Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents, nursing, and OT students (Jan–June) Patient Volume & Team Support: Average daily census: 26 patients EMR: Cerner Support: Lab, pharmacy, and full behavioral health services including therapy, medication management, and discharge planning Compensation & Perks: Base Rate: $280/hr Overtime, nightly call, and callback rates available Malpractice fully covered ?
