Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rockford, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Rockford, IL | ? 40 Guaranteed Hours | ? 13-Week Contract Shift: Days with On-Call Rotation (2 nights/week and 6 weekends during 13-week period) Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Utilize nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care - Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of patient care - Administer medications and treatments as per nursing standards, policies, and state laws - Ensure accurate, comprehensive documentation per system and entity standards - Develop and execute individualized patient care plans prescribed by physicians/hospital policy - Provide patient and family education using available resources - Participate in departmental performance improvement and shared governance - Support clinical expertise across units, resolve system breakdowns, and provide solutions - Manage complex patient safety situations, delegate appropriately, and escalate issues as needed - Positively impact professional and organizational environment - Engage in continuous learning and professional development, including evidence-based practice guidelines - Support peer review and feedback processes - Maintain patient flow and perform telephone triage in clinic/ambulatory settings as applicable Certifications & Licensure Required: - Current Illinois RN License (IDFPR) - Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications - Must pass EKG test prior to orientation completion - National Institute Healthcare Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Note: “We are an equal opportunity employer.
