Emergency Medicine opening in West Burlington, Iowa. Client in West Burlington, Iowa needs an EM locum for ASAC coverage, ongoing dates will be needed as well!

• ASAC coverage and ongoing! Specific dates below
• ED coverage
• 80% of total hospital admissions received from ED
• 17% of ED patients admitted to the hospital per day
• 2% of ED patients transferred per day
• 27 beds
• 8 ED physicians in group
• No fast track in ED
• All ages - pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
• EMR: Cerner
• Level 4 Trauma
• ED staff responds to house codes - there are hospitalists 24/7, ED doctors respond to codes
• Deliveries are sent directly to Labor and Delivery, not received in ED
• ED is responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio
• 24-hour availability for Radiology, Laboratory, OR, Anesthesia
• Surgical Services: CT, Vascular, Ortho
• Description of consultants: Radiologist, Critical Care Intensivist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Neurologist, Urologist, Hem/Onc, Psychiatrist
• Will pay for travel - flight, hotel, rental car OR mileage
