BC Pediatric Hospitalist needed in West Burlington, IA
ASAP-ongoing
7 on / 7 off or 5 on / 5 off
10-14 shifts a month
Round in morning (approx.. 2 hours) then be on call for 24
hours
Daily Census: 1-5 children on Peds Floor; 1-5 newborns in nursery
(upcoming months likely 3-5 newborns in nursery)
Must be able to attend any urgent or emergent high-risk deliveries
and all C-sections
All newborns must be seen within 24 hours of being born
Circumcisions preferred but not absolutely required
Staffing mix: Nursery – NRP trained RNs, Peds Floor – PALS trained
RNs and LPNs, Physician will work solo. No APP support
Level 2 Nursery
EMR: Cerner
BC Pediatrician, IA License, BLS, PALS & NRP required and COVID
Vaccine required
