Job Description & RequirementsRegistered Nurse - Medical Surgical - (MS RN)StartDate: 02/06/2023Available Shifts: 12 D/E/N Pay Rate: $2056.97 - 2266.87-Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:3, 1:4 days, 1:5- 1:6 Nights -Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: COPD, Hypertension, Pneumonia, Pulmonary Emboli, Sepsis, Acute Resp. Failure, Acute Renal Failure,CHF , Afib, Post Surgical patients -Any special procedure done on the unit? Thoracentesis, I & D of wounds, airway/trach suctioning, -Common Medications used on the unit? Insulin gtts, heparin, Antibiotics, Mg riders, K riders, occasional TPN & lipids, pain medications -Common Equipment: IV pump, feeding pump, SCD machines, bipap, cpap, high flow oxygen , pulse oximetry, bed and chair alarms, telemetry packs/monitors, Chest tubes, and wound vacsRequired QualificationsYears of Experience: 1.
