DescriptionJob Title: Deputy Program ManagerExperience: 5+ years Clearance: SECRET requiredJob Location: Rock Island, ILTHIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARDANTICIPATED START DATE IN AUGUSTJob Description:Envistacom is looking for a talented SATCOM Deputy Program Manager to support our RESPONSIVE STRATEGIC SOURCING FOR SERVICES (RS3) Integrated Network Operations Center (INOC) Contract, maintaining 24/7 Network Operations capability. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Program Manager with the design and implementation of SATCOM solutions for the Task Order requirements. This position requires traveling as needed. Job Responsibilities:---Under direct supervision, design and implement SATCOM solutions for the Task Order requirements. ---Provide in-depth engineering analysis of SATCOM alternatives for TASK order in support of strategic modernization efforts. ---Coordinate all product line enhancements and partner component configurations and integration activities. ---Evaluate SATCOM components and integrate the same into proposed solutions. ---Perform SATCOM requirements analysis and maintain product roadmap and lead SATCOM equipment evaluation, integration, and procurement activities. ---Will supervise SATCOM engineers and manage engineering activities, under the guidance of the Program Manager, to include transmission planning, link budget analysis, network design, budgetary pricing, network enhancements, and technical briefings. ---Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.---Define resource requirements and manage resource availability & allocation - both internal and third party.---Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.---Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhere to deadlines.---Delegate tasks on the project to employee(s) best positioned to complete them.---Coordinate the development and administration of projects, policies, procedures, and standards.---Identify and mitigate potential risks.---Perform quality control on the project throughout the period of performance to maintain the standards expected.The above responsibilities are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.Job Requirements:---A BS/BA degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or an AA and 7+ years of relevant experience. ---PMI Certification preferred.---Active DoD Secret Clearance.---Possess the proven ability to balance conflicting priorities and somewhat exclusive requirements, proactively identifying major resource gaps and evaluating multiple corrective plans to present recommended actions for improvement.---Knowledge of/experience in developing Integrated Master Schedule.---Working knowledge of PM, systems engineering, network operations, SATCOM field services and Support Services helpdesk processes.---Professional level written and oral communication skills.---Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, MS Project. ---Must be composed and effective under the pressure of heavy workloads, time sensitive demands, or changing conditions, while remaining tactful, diplomatic, considerate of views of others, and an effective leader.---Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a comprehensive background check.Special Requirements:---Up to 15% Travel may be required.---Willingness to work flexible hours.Company Benefits:---Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance ---Health Savings Accounts/Flexible Spending Accounts---401(k) Plan with Company Match---Company-paid Long and Short-Term Disability---Company-paid Life Insurance---Paid Holidays and vacation---Employee Referral Program---Employee Assistance Program---Shopping discounts through LifeMart/ADP---Voluntary Benefits through Aflac and LegalShield---Tickets to Sporting Events (select offices)---Tuition Reimbursement (after one year)Our Company: Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Envistacom provides communications, cyber, and intelligence solutions, support services and technology to the U.S. DoD and coalition partners in aerospace, defense, and intelligence communities.
