Job Description Job Description Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician 1st shift/ $24- $27 Aerotek is now hiring for a 1st shift mechanical assembly technician in Peoria, IL! Description: Assemble custom products and systems Follow blueprints and schematics provided by engineering team Perform work on components related to the following: pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing Perform basic electrical system routing and wiring Perform surface finishing as needed using pneumatic polishing tools Operate hand tools, power tools, and machine tools daily to assemble projects Utilize procedure manuals Follow all safety rules and regulations Utilize precision gaging tools to check accuracy of assembly Perform routine maintenance on equipment Qualifications: Previous experience in technical assembly or maintenance Previous mechanic experience preferred Ability to read and utilize blueprints/ schematics Previous experience using hand and power tools Associates degree or certification in industrial electrical technology or mechanic related field preferred High School Diploma/ GED Benefits: Opportunity for training and advancement Medical, Dental, 401k Opportunity for pay increases Weekly Pay Experience Level: Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Peoria, IL.
