Job Description:
Constellation, a leading integrated energy company, is currently
seeking a forward-thinking Manager of Design for Electrical and
Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, dedicated to innovation in
the field of electric and natural gas systems. This role focuses on
overseeing the planning and implementation of electrical and
control systems designs and projects across various sectors while
ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards. The
ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a knack for
optimizing system performance and enhancing sustainability
initiatives, fostering an agile engineering environment amidst the
evolving energy landscape. Lead and mentor a team of engineers in
the electrical and instrumentation & control disciplines. Design
and oversee the implementation of complex engineering projects,
ensuring compliance with industry standards and project
specifications. Coordinate with other departments and project
stakeholders to ensure project objectives, schedules, and budgets
are met. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing
technical direction and ensuring integration of engineering
activities. Oversee the development of design documents, diagrams,
and control panel tests to validate system performance. Ensure
adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies. Stay
informed of advancements in electrical and control engineering
technologies and apply best practices to improve reliability and
efficiency. Strong leadership and project management skills
In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering and instrumentation &
control systems design Proficient in CAD software and MS Office
Ability to analyze complex data and present technical information
clearly Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
preferred. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP)
is a plus. Experience with specific industry software and
regulations may be required, dependent on project specifics and
compliance needs.
