JOB DESCRIPTIONA multidisciplinary and growing excavation
company has an immediate need for an experienced Heavy Equipment
Mechanic. The ideal applicant will be a team-player and a
self-starter with experience in troubleshooting and repairing
company machines/fleet and must have experience working on motors,
final drives, and hydraulics. Company truck is
provided.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repairing and maintaining all equipment, company fleet, both
rented and owned
- Inputting equipment repairs via work orders and related
web-based software tools
- Being a leader in terms of safety, work ethic and the ability
to communicate effectively with field employees including
supervision levels
- Servicing of equipment on various job sites
- Following and upholding all required safety rules and
regulations
- Recognizing and correcting safety hazards
- Diagnose and make repairs in regards to welding and
cutting
- Will maintain good housekeeping with the ability to keep
company records and complete work orders on equipment in timely
mannerQUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years minimum mechanic experience
- Komatsu, Cat, Bobcat, and other heavy equipment experience
required
- Tri-Axle dump trucks, Mack, Kenworth, and Volvo experience
preferred
- Experience w/ Jal-Test computer diagnostic software a plus
- Pickup and passenger car experience a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED requiredGet in with a
