Job Description Job Description Job title: Electrical Spotter $18-$22/hour (QTS data center site) Job Description An entry-level spotter works alongside electricians and equipment operators to ensure a safe jobsite. This role involves monitoring the surrounding area for hazards. Spotters help set up work zones, and assist with basic labor tasks such as moving tools and keeping the site organized. No electrical experience is required—just strong awareness, communication skills, and a safety?first mindset. Responsibilities Serve as a dedicated safety observer for electricians and lifts Assist operators when backing up, positioning equipment, or maneuvering in tight/confined areas Identify and alert workers to potential hazards in real time Set up and maintain cones, barricades, and restricted work zones Measure and cut PVC pipe Support crews with basic labor tasks such as carrying materials, tools, and equipment Help maintain a clean and organized worksite Follow all company safety rules, OSHA requirements, and jobsite protocols Stay alert and attentive to surroundings to prevent accidents or unsafe conditions Work closely with electricians, apprentices, and foremen to support daily field operations Requirements Ability to remain focused and attentive for extended periods – ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST Strong communication skills and willingness to follow direction Physically capable of lifting materials and performing general labor as needed Safety-first mindset with willingness to learn No prior electrical experience required (training provided) Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work 15-19 feet off the floor in lifts Reliability and a positive attitude are crucial. Valid driver's license. Familiarity with construction site preferred Shift: Monday-Friday 06:00 AM-04:00 PM, Saturdays 06:00 AM-02:00 PM Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
